Matlock Bath in top 10 unique places to visit in Britain!
"Matlock Bath was placed sixth on the list and praised for its seaside-style promenade along the river, picturesque walks and tourist attractions, such as the famous Heights of Abraham cable cars."
The list has been compiled by travel writer and presenter Simon Calder who said: "This was a time to discover the many hidden gems of the British Isles and Matlock Bath is definitely one of the most valuable. The seaside may be miles away but this hardly matters as there's a promenade overlooking the river and an excellent supply of fish and chip shops. It also has one of Britain's original tourist attractions in the Heights of Abraham."
