1. In the caves
2. In any of the buildings at the Heights of Abraham
3. In any of the play areas
Do we need special clothes and footwear for the Caverns?
The caves are a constant 10oC so a jumper is advisable. There are good pathways and steps
throughout the caverns, however sensible sturdy shoes are advisable, and no high heels!
Where can I park?
The Heights of Abraham does not have its own car park, however there are 4 PAY & DISPLAY
car parks in Matlock Bath operated by the Derbyshire Dales District Council giving a capacity
of 670 car parking spaces. The nearest one to the Cable Car base station is the Matlock Bath
Railway Car Park, which also has coach parking and is only a couple of hundred yards away.
How often are the cavern tours?
Tours run between every 15 mins to every hour depending on the time of year. Call 01629 582365 ext 220 for details.

Can we take pushchairs into the Caves?
No, the natural formation of the caverns is such that they are not suitable for pushchairs.
Pushchairs can be left in the Great Masson Pavilion and collected on your return.
