Our two adventure playgrounds are great fun for children of all ages- with a gorgeous view for parents and grandparents too!
Once your young ones have explored the caverns, reached new heights in the cable cars and eaten an ice cream bigger than they are- and they’re still not worn out- let them explore our two adventure play areas.
Covid-19 safety procedures have been put in place to ensure visitors' safety. It is your decision whether your child can use our play areas, as this play area is unsupervised. The area is cleaned regularly, and we are operating at below 50% capacity to assist with social distancing. It is your responsibility to ensure that your child is socially distancing, please be considerate to other guests.
The Woodland Adventure is our bigger play area, filled with ropes and swings to get your children moving. Two giant slides dominate this area, and are perfect for holding family races! “The first one down the slide gets an ice cream!” With picturesque views of the Derwent Valley, it’s hard to tear parents away from this playground, let alone the kids.
The Explorer’s Challenge is located at the summit, and has all of the equipment you could need to test a young adventurer’s skills. With plenty of seating for parents, sit back for a while and let your young explorers do what they do best.
