Our Big Music Weekend brings together musicians from across Derbyshire and beyond, to celebrate our special 50th anniversary year. This vibrant festival is a fantastic showcase for local talents as artists from across the region will take centre stage. May 20th

May 20th marks the actual day that the Pugh family took over stewardship of the Heights 50 years ago. We're celebrating that golden anniversary on this very special day. The estate's restoration began in 1974 and so this day promises a delightful fusion of history and natural beauty, with fun activities for all. Come along and join the celebrations with live music, living history guided tours and new displays in the cable car station and Long View.

PUNCH AND JUDY ANNIVERSARY SPECTACULAR

July 20th - September 1st
Three shows a day

Our Punch and Judy Anniversary Special is a true high-water mark in the world of puppetry and entertainment, and promises to be a dazzling display of humour, wit, and puppeteering prowess. A real extravaganza, infused with fresh and hilarious twists that will have everyone, from kids to grown-ups, in stitches. The clever dialogue and masterful puppetry make this an event not to be missed.

Lights of Abraham

22nd November to 30th December
4.00pm to 9.30pm only
(Closed Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day)

For the first time ever! Ride the cable cars at night across a magical illuminated avenue up to the summit to experience the Lights of Abraham, an enchanting winter lights trail around the estate gardens, woodlands and into the amazing Ice Cavern. Not to be missed. Tickets will be available to purchase later this year.
