Lights of Abraham Opening Dates and Times
Open from 20th November, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday only until 4th December. Open daily from 4th December to 30th December, excluding 24th, 25th and 26th.
Open from 16:00 - 20:00, last entry at 19:00.
Please follow the postcode DE4 3NT which will take you to the nearest car park. It is a short riverside walk from there, just follow the signs.

We don't have our own car park. There are four main car parks in Matlock Bath. These are all run by Derbyshire Dales District Council, and therefore are all pay and display. The machines accept cash or you can pay by phone. Please note, the machines do not accept cards.
We love to welcome all visitors to the Heights, but due to the nature of the site, there are gradients that some guests may find a challenge. We do not recommend that you bring a wheelchair or mobility scooter to the Lights of Abraham due to the layout of the trail.
Dogs are not permitted at the Lights of Abraham.

Car Parking
The nearest car park is the Matlock Bath train station, just three minutes walk from the cable car station.
Accessibility
We love to welcome all visitors to the Heights, but due to the nature of the site not all areas are accessible.
Dogs Welcome
Dogs are welcome on the cable cars and around the estate. Dogs cannot go into the underground caverns.
Food & Drink
We have options to suit everyone, from sit down meals in the restaurant to a quick bite in the cafe. Enjoy ice cream, a cold beer, a hot chocolate or seasonal specials.
