Great British Summer Savings

From 25th June to 1st September, we’re pleased to offer a discount on tickets as part of the Great British Summer Savings initiative.

This discount has already been applied to tickets purchased online, simply choose one of the valid dates when booking to receive the saving.

The discount is also available at the ticket office, but if you book online in advance you can save further!

Half Price Kids

During the school summer holidays, kids are half price!

To claim this discount, you must book your tickets online in advance before 4th July for a visit between 11th July to 28th August 2026.

The discount is already applied to tickets on the website, simply click the ‘buy tickets’ button and book for the valid dates before 4th July.

Blue Light Card Discount

We are pleased to offer a discount for Blue Light Card holders. This covers NHS workers and emergency services.

The discount is only valid for the card holder and we require the card to be shown on arrival.

To buy the discounted ticket, simply click the buy tickets button and select the 'Blue Light or MOD' ticket.

MOD90 & MOD100 & DDS Card Discount

We offer a discount to those who serve or who have served in the armed forces and hold an MOD90, MOD100 or DDS card.

The discount is only valid for the card holder and we require the card to be shown on arrival.

To buy the discounted ticket, simply click the buy tickets button and select the 'Blue Light or MOD' ticket.

Blue Peter Kids Go Free

If your child has a valid Blue Peter Badge Holders ID card, you can claim free admission for them when visiting the Heights of Abraham.

You don't need to book Blue Peter tickets, just show the Blue Peter ID Card on arrival at the ticket office. One free child per full paying adult.

Half Price Kids Terms and Conditions

  • The ticket is not transferable. Tickets may not be exchanged or refunded unless in exceptional circumstances, which will be subject to an admin fee.
  • Only valid with a full paying adult ticket.
  • Offer only running on selected dates during the 2026 Summer Holidays (11th July – 28th August)
  • Only valid for purchases made before 4th July.
  • Not valid in conjunction with any other offer or promotion, including those from third parties.
  • The e-ticket and /or the unique code must be presented on arrival at the Base Station ticket office. It will then be exchanged for a cable car ticket.
  • You are requested to carefully check your tickets are correct before you complete your purchase; mistakes cannot be rectified on the day or after your visit. 
  • Adults must accompany all children under the age of 16.
  • Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times. Dogs cannot go in the caverns or the Vista Restaurant. 
  • If you are a carer to a paying disabled guest, we require Carers ID, PIP or DLA documentation as proof of disability to qualify for the free admission. If you are a carer to an under 4, you will need to pay for the child entry for you as the carer to be admitted free of charge.
  • In the unlikely event that the cable car is not operating on the day you have selected to travel, we will contact you with your options. 
  • Your cable car journey is provided by The Heights of Abraham (Matlock Bath) Limited. Company reg number 683982.
  • Your cable car ticket gives you a right of way across the 60-acre estate.
  • The Heights of Abraham reserves the right to alter or withdraw any package, facility, exhibit, activity or service without notice, and to refuse travel or right of way over the estate.
  • As a condition of sale, visitors to the Heights of Abraham Estate consent to being photographed, filmed or sound recorded for use on TV, websites, social media, DVD, webcast, promotional materials, or other public mediums, as part of the audience, or by security CCTV.
  • If a product purchased from our gift shops is faulty, or there is an issue with your food, we will process a refund on site if a manager is immediately made aware. Otherwise, refunds do not apply to products or food items.

  • In certain circumstances, it may be necessary to shut the cable car for a period of time; for example in adverse weather. If this occurs, you may be required to exit the site on foot. Our team will provide appropriate information.
