Spend the whole day exploring the local area by bus! The nearby town of Wirksworth is the oldest recored town in the Peak District and is often described as the prettiest. Being just 2 miles from the Heights, it's a great place to add to your Peak District Checklist!

Sheffield and Beyond

The X17 begins its journey at Barnsley and travels through Sheffield and Chesterfield to reach Matlock Bath, ending its journey at Wirksworth. Take advantage of the £2.00 single fare and travel miles for very little!
